Devona Jones-Chambers received her formal education at West Tallahatchie High School in 1997. After graduating from high school, she attended the University of Mississippi and received a Bachelor of Social Work degree in 2001. Jones-Chambers later received a Master of Education degree in Community Counseling in 2004 and an Educational Specialist Degree in administration and supervision in 2011 from Delta State University.
DevonaJones-Chambers is a licensed social worker, licensed professional counselor and national board certified school counselor. She has served in the educational capacity as a school social worker, school counselor, district graduation coach, district parent liaison, athletic director, instructional coach, assistant principal and principal. She joined Tunica Elementary School as a Professional School Counselor in 2022. She has been involved in the field of education/mental health for twenty-two years.
